1941 Producer, saxaphonist, guitarist Don Nix, born in Memphis, TN. His first band was the Instrumentals, he was the original Bar-Keys singer a prime member of Booker T & the MGs.
1942 Bernard William Jewry born in the UK. Later would forge a career as singer Shane Fenton (and the Fentones) and manager (Hollies, Lulu) until he emerged in '73 as 'superstar' Alvin Stardust.
1943 Guitarist Randy Bachman born. Randy began in the 60s with Alan & the Silvertones, renamed the Reflection, then Chad Allen & the Expressions, then the Guess Who (formed '63). Next he was in Brave Belt (formed '70 with Allen), next with Bachman-Turner Overdrive (formed '72 with his brothes Robby and Tim and C.F. Turner, gave us the great stutter song, "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet"), left in 77 and band renamed BTO, after solo excursion joined Iron Horse, THEN a reformed BTO (with Tim & Turner).

1947 Meat Loaf (Marvin Lee Aday) born in Dallas, Texas and continues to grow as an Amboy Duke, on stage in the Rocky Horrow Picture Show (Eddie) and as a person.
