Bandleader, trumpeter, composer and producer Quincy 'Delight' Jones born in Chicago, IL. As a teen 'Q' formed his first band with Ray Charles, joined Lionel Hampton's Band on trumpet in the 50's, became one of the earliest Black executives in a major record label, eventually formed his own Quest label and continues working into the 90s, still trying to add to his record of the most Grammy nominations in history.
