1900 Bob Hite, "The Bear" of Canned Heat born in Torrance, CA (Date Unknown).
1928 Antoine "Fats" Domino born in New Orleans, LA. Began in mid 40s with the Dave Bartholomew Band, his first hit was "The Fat Man", and his biggest hit with, "Walkin' To New Orleans." Fats has earned both the Grammy Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
